Gear box and driven

The demand for a printing press where the printing plate moves without pressure of the upper roller gave us the idea to produce this kind of new presses. Significant for this press is that the printing table is driven by the lower roller through two cogs which makes the printing plate move by two tooth racks. So you are able to print not only Lino prints, etchings or woodcuts with this press you can allthough print printings which are sensitive for pressure like corrugated board printings, Styrene printings etc. The body of the press is made of strong aluminium cast. The upper and lower roller diameter is 80mm what is important in comparision with other presses. The opening and the pressure can be adjusted with two screw handles which work on the upper roller.

For an easy movement of the printing plate by turning the four spoked wheel the lower roller has a planetary reduction gear, ratio of 3:1. The same printing plate with two mounted tooth racks is driven by two cogs mounted on both sides of the lower roller. The printing plate is made of a 15mm strong multiplex plate covered by a 2.5mm thick zink coated steel plate. Four bearings lead the printing plate. The presses are available in three different sizes. Each press comes with a felt sheet for printing.
