Geared Printing Presses
Printing presses with new planetary gearbox for linocuts, woodcuts, etchings and intaglio printing. In solid design with strong cast aluminium frame. Both, upper and lower stell rollers are of 80 mm diameter what one not often find. The printing pressure can be adjusted on both sides via star handles. It is driven by a four-spoke handwheel via a new type of planetary gear with a reduction ratio of 3:1 for easier working. The printing table or plate, made of multiplex with screwed-on, electrolytic galvanized steel plate, moves by means of friction between the rollers in the straightening in which the hand-wheel is turned. Specially coated strips on the side panels provide friction-freeminimized leading.
